Testimony of Healing

At the age of 15, I jumped into a swimming pool and severely injured my back. It never healed properly. In the years following, I was forced to wear back braces, sit on a special chair, and undergo regular physical therapy. The continual extreme pain from irritated nerve roots made it a challenge to focus my mind, so I eventually had to quit my job as a systems engineer for IBM. Three separate surgeries on my spinal column brought no relief only the verdict that doctors could help me no further. For five years, I was essentially confined to my bed with no hope of improvement.

After suffering 17½ years of intense pain, I attended a meeting where the pastor understood the Word of God regarding healing. He prayed, laying his hand on me, and I was marvelously healed.

God began to teach me about healing from His Word. As I began my study in the Gospels, I quickly noticed the strong connection between faith and healing. Applying the principles I learned changed my life and the life of my family. Since that time, we have experienced numerous healings and miracles, including healing of a large tumor, kidney stones, migraine headaches, injured ankles and many sicknesses. Our son was born with a fatal, inoperable heart defect, but after prayer, we took him back to the heart specialist who pronounced him totally healed!

Ministry Outreach

In recent years, I have been teaching healing and ministering the love of God to individuals, groups, pastors and leaders in the United States and around the world. I have had the awesome privilege of seeing many thousands of people instantly healed, as they grow in faith and understanding. They leave the services changed, excited, expectant and more in love with God than ever before. God is good, His Word is true, and He is faithful to His Word! God is the Healer, and His Healing Touch is still for today.

Centershot Archery Vacation Bible School (VBS begins March 28)

Remember watching the great cowboys and Indians shows on TV?  Or in today’s world, how about the hit movies, The Hunger Games?  The Centershot Archery program, teaches the life skills and expertise of archery (including focus, concentration, goal-setting, discipline and practice) to a wide range of age groups and it’s just plain FUN!  While archery is a major part of Centershot, it’s just one aspect of the whole program.  Each session also includes a time of Bible study and a time fellowship.  The life skills of archery are directly applicable to the study of God’s Word. Combine the skill and discipline of archery with Bible study!

Centershot  Archery is an opportunity to learn the foundations for Olympic Style Archery and the Christian faith. Through this VBS, students will not only gain insight from USA Archery Certified Instructors but will also be able to demonstrate safety and proficiency when handling archery equipment.

This VBS is meeting 4 consecutive days beginning Tuesday, March 28 through Friday, March 31 from 8:00 a.m. – noon and begin each session in the Bunkhouse.  We are accepting the first 15 registrants, ages 8 to 18.

Ted YukeSeize The Moment Teaching Series
Pastor Ted Yuke

 February 3 at 6:00 pm, 4 at 6:00 pm, & 5 at 10:30 am, 2017

Life is made up of moments. Most moments in life are ordinary but there are moments that set direction and focus. These moments must be seized when they present themselves for they are the moments that make a difference. As we gather for these 3 days, let’s make room for the Holy Spirit to challenge and transform our lives so His kingdom will have great impact in the church, city, county, state, nation and the world. The clarion call in 2017 is…IT’S TIME TO SEIZE THE MOMENT.

Ted Yuke was raised in Western Canada in the home of a pastor. After graduating from Central Pentecostal Bible College in 1970 Pastor Ted and his wife, Gloria accepted a call to become Youth Pastor with his father in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.  In 1971, Pastor Ted and Gloria, along with his brother Paul and family, answered the call of God to pioneer a church in Lower Sackville – a rapidly growing suburban community in Metro Halifax, Nova Scotia. Daring to believe God for great things, Pastor Ted and Gloria, together with a half dozen families, took up the challenge to build the first Full Gospel church located in Lower Sackville. Reaching across denominational barriers, Rock Church experienced phenomenal growth in its early years, both numerically and spiritually, during the Charismatic Renewal. Rock Church continues to be a growing and passionate family of believers with godly influence, locally and throughout the world.

In 2009, after 38 years as the Lead Pastor of Rock Church, Pastor Ted successfully transitioned the mantle of church leadership. Recognizing and obeying the apostolic call on his life, Pastor Ted has now stepped into the role of a spiritual father to the nations to see the global body of Christ strengthened and edified. He is giving his life to the encouragement of pastors and church leaders in North America and around the world. Pastor Ted is passionate to see a renewed hunger for the Holy Spirit to empower the church to become all that God intended it to be.

Pastor Ted has a prophetic and exhortative gift to call the church to repentance and to inspire believers to fulfill their God-given destiny in Christ.  His messages are dramatic and vivid and his illustrative preaching style deals directly with the issues of the day. Pastor Ted’s stability, insight and godly wisdom are sought out by pastors and church leaders throughout the world. This has brought invitations to speak at conferences and seminars throughout the nations.

Pastor Ted and Gloria have one son, Tim. Tim and his wife Marni have three children, a daughter named Liberty and two sons named Lincoln and Levi, who reside in Metro Halifax.
